Hello everyone!
My name is Marissa Ambrose. I am a recent graduate from Central High school in LaCrosse and I am very excited to be attending WTC. I am planning on majoring in nursing but for now I'm only taking general courses. If nursing doesn't work out I at least want to work somewhere in the medical field. Right now, I am working part time as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) at Bethany St. Josephs and I really enjoy it, I love helping people. Although the job can sometimes get gruesome, it's worth it at the end of the day to know I helped and cared for so many people who can't for themselves anymore.
I am the middle child in the family and the only girl, I have an older bother named Drew who is 24 and looking into going into the Navy and a little brother, Jerred, who just started 8th grade at Longfellow Middle. My mom, Deana, works as a Mmedical Aassistant at Franciscan Skemp and my dad, Mark, is a World History teacher at Central High school. I have two dogs named Rocky and Jax. I like animals, music, Chinese food, reading, and sleeping. I did not play any sports in high school although, I do enjoy basketball and weight lifting. I don't follow sports on TV, there pretty boring to me. I don't think there is anything too unique about me but I'm looking forward to improve my writing skills in Written Communications.
Sorry my comments are so late, but I really admire what you do. My mother is also a CNA, so I kind of know how tough it can be.
ReplyDeleteHello Marissa, I see you work at Bethany's St. Joseph. I have a neice who is a nurse there. I think it's great that you are in that field. It would be too hard for me to do that type of work. I look forward to chatting with you on our group blogs! Mike.
